Lead Pastor

Matt Sullivan

Matt and his wife Angela are proud parents to Judah and Ainsley. Before coming to Blue Hills, Matt served as an associate pastor at Redemption Church of Auburn while completing his seminary studies. His passion is to see people saved and transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and the preaching of the Word of God. He and the pastoral team aim to create a gospel-centered atmosphere where Christ is exalted, people are served, and our community is reached. He enjoys reading, baseball, Yorkshire tea, and hiking with his family.

Youth Ministry Director

Tim & Sydney Collins

Tim and Sydney are proud parents of their daughter Charlotte. Tim and Sydney joined Blue Hills in 2023 and jumped right into serving in youth ministry. Their desire is to see youth grow in the truth and love of Christ. They enjoy the outdoors, coffee, and their Goldendoodle, Nala.

Aaron Young

Aaron has faithfully served Blue Hills since 2020. He studies at Spurgeon College with a focus on business. As our worship director, he helps us worship the Lord in a biblical and Christ-exalting way, and as our communications director, he helps bring the gospel and the mission of Blue Hills to a wider audience.

OUR PASTORAL LEADERSHIP TEAM

Blue Hills is served by a team of pastors who partner together in shepherding the flock, teaching the Word, and leading the church. While each pastor gives special focus to certain areas of church life, our pastors are a band of brothers who work as a team to meet the needs of our congregation. Pastor Matt mainly (but not only) focuses on preaching and discipleship/shepherding. Pastor C mainly (but not only) focuses on outreach and gospel-mission. Pastor Derek mainly (but not only) focuses on the administrative needs of the church. Every pastor at Blue Hills must be a servant-leader and must meet the elder qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. OUR DEACONS

The deacons of Blue Hills work together to meet the tangible needs of church life. They are an invaluable team who do so much to bless our congregation and make our various ministries and activities successful. Each deacon at Blue Hills must be a servant-leader and must meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Our deacons are Allen Storey, Kyle Payne, and Tyler Hall.
